Whilst the lines inside will be far better protected compared to without a sleeve, the sleeving will fail much easier – this is due to the sleeving being used beyond its designed parameters. As a first line of defence, we recommend moving the line as far away as possible from the heat source, this is the best level of protection available. Then shielding this further with one of our heat sleeves.”
